Some people got their own love stories from pocket books, novels, movies or drama played on the television. Mine I got from watching Japanese anime’s and from love songs.Japanese anime’s usual setting for a looming love story is in a high school campus, all the teen flings, young spirits, true love.
The glimpses.
The blushes.
The Walks.
Smiles.
Unexpected touch.
The Heartbeats.
Hugs.
And ofcourse
The kisses.
Besides all the love written above there’s also one love that gives us pain and misery. Longing and so much longing that you can’t hardly live and better yet die. That love is called the Unrequited love.
In every love story you can’t really rule out the one sided love. It is ever present, because it’s the story of almost every people, ‘coz not all people get what they wanted. Sometimes the only choice is let go. Then you live a life of misery and solitude locked all the doors including windows, let no light disturb your peace and lived a life of relentless longing, and so much longing and difficulty.
It’s difficult not to glimpse what you wanted to glimpse because she’s too far.
It’s difficult not to be noticed because you’re too plain and he’s too popular.
It’s difficult to approach him because we’re worlds apart.
It’s difficult to present yourself because you’re not presentable and she’s too perfect. –aw -.-
It’s difficult to strike up a conversation ‘coz you’re too scared what she might think because she’s too smart.
It’s difficult that you think of him every day and night while his living a day without a single idea of your existence.
It’s difficult, not to be the subject of affection of your admiration. It’s more like pain and struggle.
Unrequited love is more like torture and eternal suffering. You just wanna bleed and keep bleeding.
…though I do believe humans are masochist.
According to Dr. Gregory House: “who needs love, well oxygen’s more important.”
and words from a friend:
*Unrequited love is inevitable, suffering is optional.*
