DReaM CaTCHeR

It was a fair weather when I started to unpacked the things I have bought a couple of weeks ago from a native store.

Ratan rings, ropes, beads, sinews…and they were asking what am I gonna do with those….I always say…”just wait and see…J

Then I start to separate the ropes…they were intrigue more…and they started to help…

It’s amusing to watch how my mother wrap the ropes around the ring while my mother-in-law of my brother separate the ropes under a warm sunny day…I was full of zeal.

Even though they have no idea what they’re doing they were so eager to help, maybe they are excited with what the project would be…

I’ve been always fascinated by DREAM CATCHERS …they’re like mystical objects for me and very interesting. I also like it’s pattern.

Dream Catchers are charms that is used by native Americans to protect there children from bad dreams. It’s made from wooden hoop and sinew with beads and feather as decoration. It is said that good dreams are filtered in dream catcher and it slide down through the feathers to the dreamer allowing them to dream good while bad dreams are caught in the net and vanish with the coming of daylight.

So as my project for the week I made my own version of a dream catcher…:D it’s very amateur but I think I like it much.:D

Hope it captures all of my ambitious, large-scale grand dreams.^_^v

Hmmm gonna sleep now and try it…ha!
